Jens Meier opened a modern Edeka supermarket with 2,500 m² of sales space in the Drewespark shopping centre in Wismar at the beginning of April 2025. The supermarket relies on a comprehensive communication solution from ReAct Now to ensure smooth operations.
The core of the solution is the end-to-end digital networking of all teams and technical interfaces. Tablets at the checkouts enable professional announcements and facilitate communication between the checkout area and the sales floor. Employees are also constantly connected via smartphones and integrated PDT devices – with access to all relevant information and calls to action.
A particular highlight is the seamless integration of reverse vending machines and customer call bells into the ReAct Now system. This means that feedback and service requests reach the relevant people immediately – for shorter response times and satisfied customers.
The solution is based on a competency-based communication model: information automatically reaches the right employees at the right time. This creates a digitally supported workflow that noticeably improves quality in day-to-day business.
